DATABASE MANAGEMENT

ORE CONTROL DATABASE MANAGEMENT

Most commercial mining packages do not fit the best solution for every area of a mine site, and they are rarely well integrated with the software from other vendors used for surveying, blasting, drilling, sampling, laboratory, hauling and processing. The result is data that lives in disconnected systems — and reconciliation problems that nobody can trace to a source.

Our Ore Control Database Management service closes that gap. We capture all mine polygon parameters in one database and transfer them to any other software tool, without depending on a single mining software package. The database can also integrate, track and optimize stockpiles in size and quality by improving routing, blending and re-handling, and it enables surveyors or UAVs/UGVs to gather data for volume measurement.

A well-managed ore control database delivers:

  • Maximized ore profit, accounting for metal price, costs and recoveries.
  • Waste split according to environmental policies.
  • Compliance with operational restrictions (loading and hauling unit widths).
  • Streamlined interaction between drilling and blasting software, operations and dispatch.
  • Accurate estimation reports (tonnes mined vs. destination).
  • Grade estimation corrections by estimation method.
  • Better communication between your current tools.
  • Ore splitting by high, medium and low grade.
  • Fast revenue estimation and material classification.
  • Daily geological mapping included in the workflow.
  • Efficient drilling and blasting tools.
  • Blasthole-to-exploration block model reconciliation.
  • Blasthole-to-dispatch reconciliation.
  • Extraction of all blastholes inside polygons, or on the current bench.
  • Selection of the attributes and variables you want to extract.
